[DECtalk] pronouncing ventriloquist

Thank you Guillem. I tried your phonetic spelling in Dectalk 4.4, which is
the version Snoopi uses. Your phonetic spelling sounds perfect to my ears!
Snoopi probably has [:phone on] already at beginning of the text since he
uses a voice he created years ago. I think [vehntr'ihlaxkwihst] sounds
perfect.

I have tried this on DECtalk and it says ventriloquist mostly fine. Maybe
it's a version difference. You could simply turn on phoneme input with
[:phone on] and then replace the word ventriloquist with
[vehntr'ihlaxkwihst], don't forget the brackets.

Snoopi is working on a talk he plans to give in a few months using Dectalk
as his voice. Dectalk says ventriloquist wrong. He has tried entering it
with normal spelling and changed the spelling in an attempt to have it
pronounced correctly.  Does anyone know how to make Dectalk say
ventriloquist? Snoopi would be using it in his talk, not singing it.
