 The space in the phoneme above represents where the time/pitch value should
be entered in the phoneme. I had not known about the apostrophe to indicate
stress. The mer phoneme works with and without the apostrophe suggested by
Ulysses.

Have you tried adding an apostrophe to the first vowel to iindicate 
stress? M'ehrriy? Alternatively, try the combination er, instead of 
ehrr. M'eriy.
