You can set the speed from 0 to 9. The .pitch command actually 
worked for me. You can set the pitch from 0 to 9. Thanks.

Speed can be changed using the command .speed. Note the period 
before speed.
Follow that with a space and a number. I'm not sure what the 
highest speed
number is. This command does not appear to work in the read 
program but it
definitely works in sbaitso. I don't know how to change the 
pitch. .pitch
does not appear to have any effect in sbaitso.
