OK Balake, while I got another 404 error, I looked and there was a space before
the end of that url. Certainly here in Unix/Linux if there are spaces, we need
to put quotes around.
Now, if I may, I would like to ask about something else DecTalk related? Since
I am in Linux, useing Speakup as a screen-reader, there are some issues with
drivers. In talking with James from Access Solutions, he wanted me to begin a
log of commands which speakup is sending this U S B unit. So in inquiring at
our LUG, some suggest I try "interceptty" So far if the DecTalk is on /tty/s0
we cannot figure out how to monitor what's sent to it? By chance, might any of
you have any suggestions on ways in Linux, actually Debian, to do this.
While there are some who run DT in Speakup, I almost feel as a minority.
You see, while arrowing around or reviewing the screen, the rate, pitch, and
volume drop suddenly. James can advise once he sees a log of commands.
Thanks so much in advance
Hart
