[DECtalk] Any SAPI Dectalk attempt 2 news?

I thought that setting could only be changed manually and that no programs 
would really mess with it, but I've heard that sometimes it gets changed and 
the user doesn't know what changed it or how it was changed.
Even though I've heard the bios are scary, I'd still go in there and check 
it out and fix it.
