[DECtalk] something i heard

I know what you mean. I can't stand the newer Dectalk, anything above 4.61. 
4.4 and earlier is what I really like.
Dectalk was never my most favorite synth, I remember hating it. But now I 
have come to like it, especially at faster rates like 200 to 250 wpm. Faster 
rates like 500 or so I think, just sound all garbled, Eloquence is crisper 
and sharper in my opinion. But I still like dectalk a lot, especially since 
it offers tons of peramitors. I wish it wasn't the only synth to have them 
though. That's why it is so special, and its sound alone, especially the 
older versions we mentioned,  is very distinct.
