[DECtalk] (DECTALK) UPDATED FILES

It's a rather crapy program called "Music Maker". It's retarded because it
loads MP3 files but it will only save in WAV format. I can't figure out how
to zoom, and I kind of don't like it but I'm stuck using it for one reason
and one reason only.

It has a green button that says "KARAOKE". It's the coolest thing because
you can open any MP3, WAV, or WMA file of any music you want. Then while it's
playing you just klick Karaoke, and immediately it removes all of the main
vocals but not the backup vocals. Sometimes it totally takes out the vocals,
and other times you can still slightly hear them. Then you just apply the
changes and save it as a WAV file. It will do much more, but I have a vision
problem and can't figure out how to use the other features. It's a great
program, but I can't see it well enough to use it.

So I take the WAV file and open it in another program called "Acustica"
which I totally love! Everything is large, the editing is beyond simple, You can
record unlimited tracks, and I just love Acustica to death! BUT, the stupid
program puts my vocals in the left speaker and the music in the right. I
have tried everything to get both vocals and music coming out of both speakers
but I flat out can't. I've tried "Magic cleaner", I've tried every program I
have and I can't mix the vocals and the music. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

So I do the best I can. I think I do a dam good job! It's shocking because
Dectalk sounds so human when mixed in with original music. I like sharing
them on bluegrasspals because you all know how much work goes in these. I'm
also getting better at it. It's so much fun to do.

I want better editing software that will mix. I probably can mix with what
I have but I can't figure it out. My stereo won't play a CD-RW, so I have to
waste a CD to do a test, and they all fail. I have 40 blank CD's to waste
but I hate doing that. So until I figure it out I give up. Everything is
split and I have no idea why. Of course if I wanted everything split you know
it wouldn't be.

And yes, it sounds fine on the computer as long as you don't you Quick Time
Player. But if you burn my files to a CD and play it in a DVD or on a
stereo, you will see what I mean. And if it doesn't split, please tell me what the
heck you did. I can't figure it out at all.

Subject: [DECtalk] (DECTALK) UPDATED FILES

Well, I got home this past Sunday Night and started the long task of
uploading my files again since my last upload didn't work. I uploaded a little each
night. This morning after the 3:00 half hour break for the system updates,
I finished the last of my uploads at around 5:00 this morning. Needless to
say I went to bed after that. So, you can all now enjoy my fixed songs, as
well as a ton of new ones. I might do a few more before I quit for a while.

I figured out two months ago how to remive vocals from any song and add in
Dectalk. It was fun, I had a blast, but now it's getting old just because I
now know I can do it. It's cool as hell, but I'm running out of disk space,
plus it's just getting old. But I hope you guys enjoy what I did. There will
be more, I just need a break.

QUESTION; I sent someone to _www.bluegrasspals.com_
(http://www.bluegrasspals.com/) to hear my stuff plus everyone elses, and after she wrote back and
said she was lost I went there myself. I forgot how to get to the archives
where it has a list of everyone that has Dectalk files. How do I get to those
archives?
