Hi, what do you mean by wildcards? Do you mean in the filenames or
the search and replace strings? My change program handles wildcards
in filenames just fine. I can do *.txt etc. It doesn't handle
wildcards in strings though. I can't do "d*g" and have it match dig,
dog, etc. Also you know Linux has this ability. You would want
probably awk or sed. I can't help with using them but I know they do
that. Anyway, it's probably easier for me to attach mine. It's a
bit old and doesn't support long filenames but still works fine. It
just uses the shortened Windows 8.3 names instead. I'm not sure
where to download it since I don't think it is maintained. It's
simply called Change so would be hard to find. You could try
ftp://ftp.simtel.net/ but no guarantees. It's probably better if I
attach or upload it. Actually you have ftp upload set up now so I'll
probably just do that. It's changXXX.zip, the X's being a year and
month. I hope I still have it.
