[DECtalk] A very interesting program

Hi,
As for actually using the synthesizer with Jaws, currently lots of people
can't. The program is supposed to have Sapi5 support but it isn't working
for lots of people right now. But hopefully we'll be able to use it. The
main purpose of this program for making your own voice is for someone who is
about to lose their ability to speak. Such a person could make or have made
a synthetic version of their own voice so that when they require a machine
in order to speak they can still use their own voice. If you have already
lost the ability to speak, you can use another voice to represent you, just
like people who use DECtalk-based speaking devices do.
Jayson.
