Hi,

We hope you've been getting your act together, ducks in a row, and ready
to present on Sunday. If for any reason the time schedule will not work
for you, please let us know as soon as possible so we can adjust
accordingly. We've tried to adjust the order to feature less well-known
published books early on. We decided to start with Alice since we know
she has a holiday collection which is sure to be popular. We'll have a
short intro explaining our purpose and some of the mechanics of how it
will work for the listeners. Although each presentation is scheduled for
ten minutes, you know and we know that interruptions happen,
explanations sometimes have to be made, etc. You can gauge your
approximate time of appearance by what we've said here, but we hope most
folks will participate for most of the conference if possible. If you
can think of anything we've left out or anything else you'd like to see
us do, please bring it to our attention. It's not too late to make some
adjustments. You can either contact Bonnie or me privately or post to
this list. Now here's the information we posted on the WPL.

We expect the conference to take up two complete hours and venture into
the third. Here is the order of participation at this point. If changes
are made because of scheduling problems, we'll let you know. We've tried
to vary the genre as much as possible.

Alice Massa, Peter Altschul, Joan Myles, Ann Harrison Barns, Mary
Hiland, Carrie Hooper, Deborah Kendrick, Anne Chiappetta, Abbie Johnson
Taylor, Lynda McKinney Lambert, and Marilyn Brandt Smith.

Please mute yourself by pressing *6 when you're not presenting or asking
or responding to a question. Use *6 again to unmute when appropriate.
The slightest cough or tap makes more noise than you ever think it can,
and since this will be a public program, we want it to be as clear as
possible.

Also, if you come in after the recording has started, please do not
identify yourself. We will ask who has joined at the next available
break. We hope to have good attendance, so please try to stay for the
whole presentation.

By participating in this conference, you give permission for your voice
to appear in the conference recording, with the understanding that we
plan to post the recording on our website, accessible to the public and
downloadable by the public. Portions may be used, therefore, for reasons
and in places which we cannot at this time foresee.

We consider this a positive public relations tool, and would encourage
you to be thinking of social media and individuals with whom you'd like
to share the information about the book fair. We'll be back with some
promotional ideas once the conference is ready to post on the website.

Thanks,

Marilyn
