o.k., I'm working on some more, but for some reason my a d t
program quit working. I'm still trying to figure out why, one
day it worked, next day it didn't. I don't think the computers
are talking to each other. Will keep trying.

Hi,
Sorry for being so long in responding to this. I've been in the
middle of a move, and am just now getting settled in.
Yes, I did download the second installment.

Hi,
I'll need to invite you to the folder, and you'll have
read-only access, as that's what we generally do. The only
exception would be if you have many disk images to contribute. To
do this, I'll need the Email address you used to sign up for
Dropbox. Is it the same one you're using for this list? When I
invite you, you'll get an Email, and you need to follow the
instructions there to accept the invitation and add that folder
to your own Dropbox.

o.k, I see a dropbox folder under my user where documents and
all that are located. I need a crash coarse on how to use this
thing. Also, how do I get to the apple disk folder that was
mentioned some time back. Thanks.

I feel kind of dumb, but not sure what to do next. I created
an account and installed the program. On my desktop is a dropbox
shortcut and when I go there I have a desktop.ini, a
dropbox.cache, and another that just says dropbox. How do I tell
it where on my system the dropbox folder should be. Thanks.

Hi,
Yes, this folder is in Dropbox, which is a file sharing and
sync service. Visit www.dropbox.com to sign up and download the
client for your platform, PC or Mac. You sign up for an account,
then install their software and sign in. Then you have a special
folder called Dropbox on your system. Anything you put in that
folder is automatically uploaded to your Dropbox folder online.
If you have multiple devices signed in, whatever you do in your
Dropbox folder on one computer gets reflected on your other
devices without you needing to do anything. You can also create
and join shared folders, which are just what they sound like,
folders where several people can come together and work in one
shared space. This is what the Talking Apple Archive folder is.

I'm going through old saved messages and ran across this
one. I don't have dropbox, really don't know how it works. Is
that what AI need to access the folder you mentioned? Thanks.

Hi,
There's a Talking Apple Dropbox folder you could join if
you have Dropbox. Let me know if you're interested. Those disks
are in the folder.
For now, I'm attaching a zip with all the disk images to
this message.
Hope this helps,
Jayson

Hi:
Just curious. What did Jeff do with those disks. Would
love to read them. Bet there’s some nice historical stuff in
there.
