You would need that program, I believe it's called ADTPro and a serial
connection to the PC to actually transfer the disk images.
I think there's a guide on doing it.

The current Apple II emulators (i.e. AppleWin, etc.) will be able to run the
ProDos disk images from Internet.
I don't think is possible to read your original Apple II floppy disks
directly into a modern PC or Mac disk drives. The disk formats and hardware
are different.

I dug out my 2 e and found some of my disks. I'm wondering if the emulator
will run prodos disk images? I found a prodos floppy with a bunch of my
favorite games on it. I have several games disks. So far I can't get the
computers to talk to each other, but my serial card is an apricorn which
might be why. I have ordered an apple super serial card on ebay, so
hopefully that will make things work. Sure is fun running the 2 e again
though.

Welcome to the list. I'm curious to know the major titles you have in
collection.
You can also find many apple2 related applications in the Asimov ftp server

Just joined this list. My first computer was an apple 2 e which
I still have. I plan on digging out my 2 e soon, still have the
disks as well as a ten meg prodos scsii external drive. My 2 e
also has I think 8 meg of ram on a card that took 36 256k chips.
Looking forward to lots of old apple stuff.
