yep, that worked.  I looked at the eamon start disk and I think I can make it talk by dumping the manual and possibly other stuff.  I have batch files written that load a disk in both drives, so by putting a %1% for the last file you can specify the second disk loaded and of course a talking disk is loaded in drive 1.

There is, but it’s really a pain in the ass.  I get nostalgic for the original eamon myself, but for this, it’s just easier to play on http://www.eamon-remastered.com.

 

The irish man in the remastered version isn’t as good as the original, but there is a good set of adventures.
