Thanks Zachary,
I got a program called
ZipPlus
which did allow me to unzip the files.
I now have access to the .dsk files that were compressed!
Again thanks,
Jeff Weiss

..gz files are archives, kind of like. zip, except they only generally contain one file. You can use, say, Winzip or WinRar to do it.
Best,
Zack.

How do I open a .gz file?
I’m trying to open
168 - Christmas Games and Novelties (Midland Apple Club, ACES).dsk.gz
The computer says it’s an adobe file, but adobe reader won’t open the file.
I tried to open it with CiderPress by just changing to dsk with out the .gz—that didn’t work.
If anybody is familiar with this type of file, and knows how to open the file, or change it to a CiderPress-friendly format, please let me know.
thanks
Jeff Weiss
