[Blindapple] help with Empire Strikes Back game

Hi,

How do I make the wookie my friend so that he does not destroy me? I
remember playing this game on a real Apple2 decades ago when I was a kid.
Due to passage of many years, I don't remember how an avenging wookie
becomes my friend.
