[Blindapple] talking dos box and apple 2 ee emulator

Once about 3 years ago, I got the Apple //e emulator working using Linux 
MESS, which is now integrated into MAME. Now however, all attempts to 
get MAME working with the emulator result in performance that rarely 
hits 15% of normal speed, and the sound pops rhythmically and although 
it does retain the correct pitch, it runs very slowly as well.
