Hi,
The Echocric.dsk training disk gives more complete instructions in
lesson 9, but briefly, from within Braille Edit:
1. From Starting menu, hit Q to quit.
2. Type BRUN FID and press Return.
3. From the menu, hit 1 to copy files, and hit enter.
4. Answer the questions. Source slot: 6, source drive: 1, destination
slot: 6, destination drive: 2. Filename, you'll want to copy both
textalker.ram and textalker.ram.obj, so you'll need to do two copy
operations, the second time around, it won't ask for slot and drive.
Note that when you copy textalker.ram, it'll complain about that file
already existing. Just hit Return to replace it, if it says the file is
locked, you'll have to unlock it first, but don't just go and unlock the
file, that would unlock it on disk 1, which isn't what you want!
Note that there might not be enough room for both the newer
textalker.obj and the older textalker.ram.obj, so you'll need to delete
textalker.obj first if that's the case.
Before unlocking or deleting, use the option in FID to reset slot and
drive. Then, when you select to unlock or delete, it'll ask for the slot
and drive, and you answer slot 6, drive 2. You'll probably want to reset
slot and drive again before copying again.
When done with FID, select Quit, option 9 from the menu.
Hope that helps.
