Hi all, just a few warnings about the A2 emulator and talking
software. You can actually print, so Jayson saying you can't is
incorrect. It makes a file called a2.printlog in the current
directory under DOS or Linux. It dumps anything sent to slot 1 to
that file. I briefly experimented with pretending an Echo is in slot
1 since it prints to a file. It kind of worked but not
exactly. Second, you can't use anything that requires an Echo or it
locks up. You can use Bex but make sure to use a configuration
without speech. Later Textalker versions are better about
this. Finally, don't use any 80 column software or anything that
expects cards in the slots other than 1 or 6. Specifically slot 3
locks up if accessed. If you can delete the pr#3 statements, that
helps but you can only do that for Applesoft programs.
