The only thing you got a little wrong is, to import
the keymap, you can't hit F4 to get to the actions screen. The thing is,
that is a mapped keystroke which you actually don't get until the keymap
has been imported. So what you actually need to do is to go into Reaper,
hit alt+F. this will take you to your file menu.

Then right arrow 7 times over to the actions menu
in the menu bar. Beware, just pressing the alt key by itself probably
won't open the menu bar like normal. At least, it didn't on my end.
You literally have to kind a cheat by hitting alt+F first, then arrowing over to
the menu.

In here, the first option in the actions menu is
the one you need to open the actions dialog. Once the keymap has been
correctly imported, then! F4 will open that same screen, but not until you do
so.

be sure first to uninstall it before trying to install Osara. Otherwise,
you may down the line run into problems, even if they don't appear to be
apparent at first glance. Trust me with this.

and keymaps?

Hey there.
I just installed Osara and the keymaps myself
last night. So here's how you do it:
Step 1. You have to have three files.
One is the Osara file itself, appropriate for your system either 64 or 32
bits. Make sure you know.
Step 2. The next two files are explanatory. One
you import and one you install. Osara is a plug in. So ... okay, that's the
makeup of the files.

How to Install.
1. Go to your computer setup
with all your files. There should be a program files reaper folder. Within
your reaper folder you should find a plug ins folder, you need to copy and
paste the Osara file into the Reaper plug ins folder. Okay, next file.
2.
With SWS extension you install it like you do any other program installer. All
defaults should be kept.
3. With the Keymap, you should do this from your
actions. Hit f4 and go to import/export. Then, a menu pops up and you should
hit Import. Then, browse to where you have your Keymaps file, wherever that is
according to your system, then like any other file import, all you have to do
is hit Enter on the file name. You know it's working when you see some stuff
rendered properly by your screen reader. It should render certain things with
your arrow keys and such. Also, there's a shortcut help thing that I'm just
now discovering!
Thanks.

Beth Taurasi, Windows 10 edition,
