It will behave in a similar way to Rea Access if you do some intense
fiddling with the keymap. I am well underway with this and, once
complete, will be happy to share a keymap to the list. If you use
ReaEar's default keymap, it's so different as to require you to
relearn Reaper's key strokes from the ground up and some are very
counter-intuitive e.g. alt f4 doesn't close Reaper. <br>

Hope this helps, <br>

<pre wrap="">Hi David,
You can indeed use ReaEar with JAWS, but if you're looking for similar
behaviour to ReaAccess, OSARA will likely be more up your alley.
You can grab a download, a keymap, and check the ReadMe at
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://www.github.com/nvaccess/osara">http://www.github.com/nvaccess/osara</a>
Also worth noting that Jim Snowbarger has just started work on some
scripts that tidy up JAWS weirdness. They'll be merged with the rest
of the project soon, but for now, I've attached the most recent
version he posted to the list.

behave in a similar way to ReaAccess?

Subject: Re: [Rwp] Using envelope points with ReaAccess
Hi,
you cannot automate using envelope points and Rea Access to my knowledge.
you can only automate by using the various automation modes and manipulating
the sliders for pan, volume or those in the effects parameter dialogues.
Once you have recorded changes, there is no way to fine tune what you have
done - you just have to do it over until you get it how you want it in one
go if that makes sense.
Both ReaEar and Osara provide means to edit envelope points, which is a far
less hectic and nerve-wracking way to do automation, at least for me,
Hope this helps,
Justin

I am using ReaAccess with Reaper 4.71 and Jaws 13 in windows 7.
Can any one help me who has been able to use envelope points, I haven’t
been very successful at automating an effects parameter as yet. I would be
very grateful for any guidance.
