Hi,

you cannot automate using envelope points and Rea Access to my
knowledge. you can only automate by using the various automation
modes and manipulating the sliders for pan, volume or those in the
effects parameter dialogues. Once you have recorded changes, there
is no way to fine tune what you have done - you just have to do it
over until you get it how you want it in one go if that makes sense.

Both ReaEar and Osara provide means to edit envelope points, which
is a far less hectic and nerve-wracking way to do automation, at
least for me,

Hope this helps,
