Wow, so many discoveries with Reaper. Nope, didn't know there was a
statistics plug-in but that sounds like exactly what i need.<br><br>
If that is useful and if I can create DDP images for CD manufacturers
from within Reaper - I saw something about DDP when I installed Reaper -
that will pretty much make Sound Forge unnecessary, and more important,
I'll be able to produce DDP filesets myself rather than contract that
part of the process out to others. This gets better and better.<br><br>

I believe that REAPER indeed has various VU metering options. If you<br>
enable docker and mixer in the view menu and then use ctrl+up to get<br>
to the top most panel where it reads "mixer dialog master volume

DB" and such, pressing the applications key will open a dialog

one can customize the settings for the VU meter. Maybe the settings<br>
here only apply to the master track, I really don't know. But if
this<br>
is what you are looking for, I don't think that Osara can interact<br>
with the info presented here yet.<br><br>
