For those of you using Superior Drummer or similar drum instrument, can I

ask what you are using to trigger it?  I mix a lot of hard rock and

metal, so a lot of the time, I'm either replacing or augmenting drums

supplied by the client.  I need to detect and mark transients

automatically in either Sonar or Reaper, and layer or replace with

appropriate samples from a drum plug-in such as Superior

Drummer.<br><br>

What are people using to do this?<br>

Note: I'm not talking at all about manually entering drum parts. This

would be useful too, but won't be my primary use for something like

Superior.<br><br>
