They both have sequencers that allow you to record in to patterns that you can change in real time with the press of a button. That’s all good, but I want to be able to change patterns on a daw like that as well. I have always wanted to own an Ensoniq just for the feature that I am trying to find for the pc.

I wonder if there is a plugin out there that will do this. So, here’s what I am after…

I want to be able to create a sequence. It really doesn’t matter the length, but let’s say for this case an eight bar sequence. This sequence has 5 tracks associated with it. Now let’s create a 16 bar one with the same 5 tracks in another pattern section. I can switch between patterns by pressing the 1-16 buttons while in pattern play mode. Keep in mind, in case I lost you, we are using the motif right now. Ok. We have our two sections that we recorded, and can switch between them. Here’s how I want to bring it over to the computer. Is there a plugin that will allow you to sequence in to sections and use some kind of trigger to change between patterns with reaper or sonar or anything for that matter? Thanks for any feedback on this.

GF
