My experience was joy at first, but once I opened some actual mixes, VO crapped the bed. Lots of busies and lag between keystrokes and speech feedback. Oreo gets stuff done with it, and I find that impressive, because it ran like a wounded bear here. <div><br></div>I ditched PT and been using reaper on OS X for a good while now
as my main DAW. Most things are accessible and readable but the keyboard
shortcuts are are far and few between. I went through and ade a KeyMap
and added a few custom actions to speed workflow while in the process. Also
SWS extensions are a must to speed keyboard use. You can read more on this at

<div>I don’t think there are enough mac users of reaper to warrant a new
mailing list for it and since most reaper info can be used cross platform,
probably best to keep it all in one place. <br>

doesn't work either. The trick is, when you get to the text field, hit

Then, you type the name of the track, then hit return to apply the

<div>Out of interest, can you actually adjust the sliders for volume, etc.
in, say, the track view? I ask because I realised the other day that the
base accessibility code for the UI toolkit REAPER uses for these controls
is actually open source. I took a look at the code and, like on Windows, I
couldn't see any code for making adjusting these controls accessible, even
though it does indeed make the values readible. Of course, I could just be
missing something, hence my curiosity...</div>

huge! amount of credit. This is wonderful! Cockos just
gained even more! respect from me. Not that I didn't have it
before, but now, I really! have very high hopes for this DAW! I
know one thing: I definitely! am e-mailing their support and
congratulating them on such a fantastically accessible recording
sollution. This is absolutely awesome!</font></div>
