state of ripple editing. Its good for me to be reminded of this without
having to toggle between modes, just to see where I was.</font></div>

"silance," I put that in quotes because there is the ocasional background noise
which makes it past a gate. I'd like to have ripple off for this of
course, but ripple on for doing crossfades, or adding silance in the intire
project, where necessary.</font></div>
<div><font size="2" face="Arial">2. I'd love to have a mute function which
would disable the announcing of time as I'm scrubbing. For this, I have to
mute nvda, which means more key presses when I want to hear anything else, such
as ripple editing state, the position of an item on a track, which actually
doesn't speak yet but I'm not sure, etc.</font></div>

either, but I'll double check that too.</font></div>

reliable. When something is reported as done, it is so and double checking
has always shown me this.</font></div>
