<div dir="ltr"><div>I've brought up the track item properties window. There is a fade in and fade out option. Next to fade in and fade out is a button. Wen I press this button I am informed that it has opened a menu containing seven items. But when I arrow down, the items are not spoken, so I'm not at all sure what the options are. I've applied a couple of the options anyway, but nothing is happening. </div>
<div><br></div><div>Regarding what happens when I press I on the mac with Voice-Over: I get the input output router opened and I am able to select sends, receives, and input output channels and devices absolutely fine. I'm happy to lend my voice to the cause though if it's not working for Windows users. I'm not sure what you mean by reading the peaks though. I was wondering if there was a way of checking the decibel reading of recording and playing tracks. </div>

Hi, just a revision to my last post. It seems as if the sliders issue I reported, where I could not increase the value of an effect parameter after I'd decreased it, only applies to a few effects. The vast majority of effects work fine. So far I've only discovered it in the Matrix reverb plugin and the Apple Pitch effect. Thanks.<br>

Hi, I am having great success with Reaper. One of the things I liked about Sonar was how easy it was to apply a fade in or fade out on a selected portion of audio. I could select from a number of fade types: exponential and linear for instance. I've tried to see if I can do something similar to this in Reaper, but I can't seem to find anything. The manual talks about drawing in fades with the mouse, but I was wondering what people do in order to create fades for selected portions of audio. Obviously, I can do a manual fade, which is fine when I have a control surface, but a bit more cumbersome when I'm working away from the studio, using just my Mac keyboard.<br>
I've got the SWS extensions, and there is an envelope extension with fade options, but when I hit the process button, nothing seems to happen. It would be good if you could do this with the RE-console. Anyway, thoughts appreciated.<br>

I have the apple matrix verb on a project i was working on and i?ll open it up and see if i can reproduce this bug, but i didn?t notice that when i was working on it last.<br>

Also if you get a minute see if you can see the track input menu or meters with voice over and if not please add your voice to this thread on the reaper forums to hopefully bring this to the developers attention to have it rectified in a later version of reaper.<br>

The easiest way to do fades is to do the faes for the audio items in<br>
the item propperties. I Think in the latest versions you can change<br>
the fade curves of that as well.<br>
