Hi<br>
1: It should not be checked.<br>
Reason: it disables your access to ReaPlugins which come by reaper.
and enabling it just exposes some parameters that you can access by
shift P.<br>
<br>
2: I have no idea about your plugins, never used them. but what you
need to do is to press f and it allows you to incert Plugins on
track.<br>
<br>
I have no idea what shift+N would do either, because i just use
shift+P to ajust plugin parameters.<br>
