<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial>The confusion is over where the .hsc file should be
placed. </FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial>It is layed out somewhere in the
documentation. but, here's the summary.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial>By default, HSC looks for them in a subfolder of
the Personalized Settings folder, which is under the folder for your
language. The subfolder is named for your application.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial>So, if you are using english US, and want to run
the hotSpots under Reaper, you would put them in:</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial>"...\settings\enu\Personalized
Settings\Reaper".</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial>However, since that will force you to move them to
a new version of jaws, if you ever install one, you might choose to place your
HSC files in a folder of your choosing, that would be shared by all versions of
jaws.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial>To do that, create that folder, anywhere that is
convenient for you, and then go to your settings\enu folder, and open a file
called HotSpotClicker.ini. in there, you will find a line that
says:</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial>Replace the $ with the path to your folder.
such as:</FONT></DIV>

<DIV>I have such a problem here: I've installed hsc 234 jsx and
AddictiveDrumsHSCV1.1-Reaper. But when I choose 'import new hot spot set', I
hear just 'there's no hot spots to install'.</DIV>
<DIV>I thought that's a localization thing, and installed all files both
to rus folder and to enu one, but unfortunately with the same result. Maybe
there's something else to do in that cas, I don't know...</DIV>
