Well, I didn't know what he wanted an action for, but I'm sure
I'm
simple minded, because to turn record arm on plus input monitoring, I
use the track recording options you get at the tab key with the desired
track selected.
I tab to record armed; press the spacebar for on; tab
to monitor input,
press the spacebar for normal; then hit enter to save
the settings.
One could create a macro to run through those key presses,
but it would
take more time than just pressing 5 keys.
I avoid
headaches and frustration by complying; pressing five simple
keystrokes;
instead of inventing a stumbling block that gets in the way
of work
flow.
I already had the ulcers and anxiety, way way back, now I don't have
the
energy to get excited if something requireds more than a single key
stroke.
On another subject; Clearly, some of us are here to learn how to
record
music, and others have so much free time on their hands they devote
their lives to discovering and pointing out what can't be done in
Reaper.
But, alas, you find those spoilers in every forum, every list of
comments after great YouTubes; they're only there to say negative
things.
So sad, isn't it; that they can't find something useful to do with
their
lives?
Indi

On 8/19/2013 1:20 PM, Goldfinga Productions
