I’m not at all new to music but very new to recording so please excuse if I ask a couple of stupid questions. I’ll try to keep them to a minimum. At the moment though, I’m trying to work out a few different things like working out my first firewire device, a Saffire pro14 with HSC scripts for the Saffire mix control and finding some alternative keyboared combinations in Reaper having a bootcamped win7 so hence no applications key on the full apple keyboard. At least I have a numpad now which the macbook pro originally didn’t. Oops, sorry, rambeling.

If I have a dialog window open like “f” track effects or preferences, if I alt tab away and come back, I’m always put into the project window again although I can see with the little sight I have that the dialog window is still open. I can find it with my jaws curser and numpad left click ok cancel etc or rout the jaws curser to the pc curser which makes it close but I’m definitely not used to this kind of behaviour. Is this a Reaper issue or something not functioning the way it’s intended?

Any help greatly appreciated.

Danny Noonan.
