Hi & Greetings from The Great Southern Land

Try this...

Select the MIDI Item yu wish to be looped
Open the Item Dialog with Shift plus F2
TAB (I think) 3 times until you hear length

Okay.. so if your MIDI Iis one bar in length it will show 1 in this parameter an if you wish the the Item to loop for 16 bars type in 16.

Then TAB until you hear Loop and Check this box...

Hit Return to exit the Item Dialog and all should be well...

Kind regards

High Matt. Thank you, but it's not working.

On your drum tracks, select the midi item with control plus shift, and the left or rite arrow keys.

Then, you can copy or paste the selected item across the track. HTH.

BTW... I've laid down some using midi. How can I loop these drums to play for the entire song? I was thinking something along the lines of copy and pasting the drums through the track, but have no idea how to go about doing it.

Any resources that I can begin reading to learn how to use reaper?

Its my first time working with anything larger than Audacity.

No problem man. Happy beat making. And I would like to hear some stuff from you when you have something finished that you did in reaper.

Did you make sure that the monitoring was enabled when you were recording? Before recording, hit F7 to arm the track, and F8 to monitor yourself. Then press are again when you are done recording, Press W to go to the start of the project and then press the to hear what you have recorded.
        Hope this helps.

High everyone. I'm a new user of reaper, but I've used Audacity for years now. I began using Reaper with OSARA since it gives me better access to my DAW.
Deep thanks to everyone who is responsible for the creation of OSARA.
Presently, I'm trying to compose a song in reaper, however, from the time i hit r to record and start playing, there's some scilance. How can I erace this scilance?
          Thank You :)
