Does it speak the value when the slider first gets focus? If not, are 
you running REAPER 5.20? Earlier versions do not expose the correct 
accessibility information.

It should if you're running 5.20. If not, it's possibly because REAPER 
doesn't implement IDispatch for MSAA and JAWS scripting will only work 
with IDispatch; it can't do IAccessible directly. Note that JAWS itself 
can do direct IAccessible; it's just JAWS scripting that can't. In other 
words, even if JAWS can read the name and value when it gets focus, JAWS 
scripting may not be able to access it.

The issue with the arrow keys not actually changing the value is the 
issue most people (but not all) seem to be experiencing. The value is 
exposed correctly; it's just not changing when the arrow keys are used.
