Hey, you needto instantiate rea-midi control, or what ever it's called.
control midi, it will let you set patches, send cc messages, and all
that jiggery pokery.
I justlove that expression Scott, I'm stealing it.
ha.
Anyway, once you have a plug in for doing this, you can automate it
llike any other plug,
there are some very powerful midi plug-ins in reaper,
you can do things sonar won't do like set keyboard zones, and filter
things in all sorts of nifty ways, I haven't even scratched the surface yet,
but I see the possibilities.
the capital tone banks in the tts are 15488 gm level 2,
the rhythm banks are 15360
but you should see the patch names show up in the plug
once you get them there, I'll have to go look to see exactly how, but
you're a bright fellow I think once you put the plug in and have a play,
it'll drop the shoe.
There is a setting in there to enable cc messages or some such which is
off by default, don't know why they did that, but make sure your midi
channel and such are set right as well.
Also, make sure your midi plug is put before your synth, up-stream from
it or your synth won't see your patch changes you sent, they'll go down
the pipe down stream from your synth 'grin'.
