[Rwp] Record midi not in real time, but event by event.

Hello all,

     Do you know a way to record midi event by event. It could be 
particulary useful for building a drum rythmic.
For example, we could drop the kick on beat 1 and 3; drop the snare beat 
2 and 4; and a close Charley in scrubbing at 25; 50 and 75.
For the moment, I create my patterns recording in real time with 
autoquantization, but I find this process less precise, particularly in 
the case of fast BPM, with a lot element to incorpore in the rythm.
