Hi, I meant to post about this earlier, because I have recently discovered a really easy way to time stretch. I am doing a lot of work that requires a great amount of time stretching, having to maybe time stretch just a couple of seconds, and then make another stretch on another item straight after that. So, go to the actions list, F4, and there is an action called Decrease item rate by 0,6 percont, 0 sents, and there is another to increase. Unlike the other item rate actions which are already assigned to hotkeys, shift 3 and shift 4, these actions will let you changh the rate without changing pitch. I've assigned them to hotkeys, Control Alt numpad 7 and control alt numpad 8.

Then you can split items, make non-destructive time stretches and nudge grow and shrink other items around it in order to get the perfect results.

Hope this helps.
