[Rwp] Recording a voiceover and inserting pauses in between sentences

Easiest way to do this that i can  think of is first in preferences (which you can get to with control+P) Select editing behavior you will want to check the Move edit cursor to end of recorded items on record stop  checkbox.  Then when you are done with each recorded part open the jump to dialog by pressing Control+J and manually change the time to two seconds later in the project and press return to close the dialog. You can start recording at the new location which will be two seconds later.
