Hi,


This is possible, select your item and ensure loop source is checked. 
You can write in the length you want it to be in bars or minutes and 
seconds and it will loop to that length. n.b. if you select a length 
that does not correspond to a whole number of loops, it will just cut 
off where the length specifies.


Alternatively, select the item then move your cursor to where you want 
it to loop to. Then bring up item properties, ensuring loop source is 
checked, click the nudge set button and select set from the combo box, 
which I believe is set to nudge by default. Then, select right trim from 
the other combo box. then tab to get cursor, activate it by caps lock 
and enter if you're using NVDA. You can't activate it by pressing space 
or shift space and I don't know the Jaws equivalent. then tab to apply 
move and activate that button by the same means. then your right trim, 
and therefore the items length, will extend to your cursor position.


Just be sure to position your cursor after having selected your item.


You can also loop sections of items but that's trickier. Let me know if 
you want to be able to do that too.


Remember when doing this that if you have a file that you've split into 
multiple items, if you check loop source, select an item and try to loop 
it by adjusting its length, what will happen is that more of the source 
audio will be encompassed by that item, you must loop section if you 
want to loop loop an item that comprises only part of a source.
