[Rwp] Please read, A suggestion for the next release of Osara, what does the list think?

The idea of complete control over every single message is impossible, as
well as making configuration rather complex and thus unintuitive. You
mention a nice edit field instead of check boxes, but I don't think
you've considered how this would really work if it were implemented.
What would you put in this field? How would you customise every single
message in a single field?

To address the three specific examples you provided:
1. Setting start and end of selection: I added this because it was
specifically requested. I also don't follow why hearing this is a big
deal. You're not having to wait to hear important information (unlike,
say, "metronome on"), so if you don't want to hear it, why not just
ignore it?
2. Notes in MIDI editor: I agree it'd make sense to add a check box to
silence these. Again, the correct place for such requests is GitHub.
3. Metronome on/off: It's true that you have to wait to hear "metronome"
before you hear the state. Again, I'm not sure how this really affects
workflow; it's three extra syllables and most advanced users either know
what state the metronome is in (because they can hear it ticking) or
have speech set fast enough that three extra syllables isn't going to
matter. That said, I guess I could consider changing this.
