[Rwp] new to reaper - where to get started?

The first thing you want to do is to read all the information, the
actions which can be bound and all the instructions over on the Osara site.
I'll start you out with three important key strokes,
f12 is your training mode.
When you press a hot key which is bound to an action it will tell you
what it does.
f4 is your huge actions list which is a massive search filter where you
can harness the power of reaper to do just about anything, can be
overwhelming in the beginning.
For instance you could type in nudge track volume, and you'll get all
the things about that.
There are many more actions than can be bounmd by the limited number of
hotkeys, and the keymap which comes with Osara is roughly based on the
old Reaccess plug, but many of us depart from it and make our own mods.
If you want a list of all the bound options in an html table, then do
shift f1 and you'll get it in your browser.
I come from a strong cakewalk sonar background, and my students are
starting to use reaper,
so we are having fun learning together.
If you go back through the list archives, there are many useful things,
also on the reaper forum although be it from a sighted angle.
Come see me if you get too stuck.
and have fun learning,
