Depending on how much noise is there a noise gate may work. But for best results a program that can take a sample of the noise on its own learn it and remove that noise from the track would work best if its a constant noise like hiss or hum or etc and you can get two seconds or more of just the noise to sample it for the learn process. I don’t know of any plug ins that do this as its usually a standalone process but Isotope RX, Audition and sound forge all does this. RX do have plug in versions and they can remove a lot of background noise in that mode but they are processor intensive hence why its best to run it and export the stand alone audio i the stand alone app and then re import the cleaned up audio in reader to finish your work.
