[Rwp] understanding Reaper's take system?

Yeah, so let's say you recorded two takes. Take 1 is good for the first 
half but then it starts to suck, say a dog started barking over it or 
something. Split the item in the middle, go to your second item and 
press t and you'll have one good take, take 1 for the first half, take 2 
for the second half,
