[Rwp] snapping automation envelopes

So since reaper insists on a constatly moving envelope instead of a 
static one with all it's points,
like a rubber band always wanting to flex between the points instead of 
stayin where you put it till you change it like sonar does, midi style, 
then if you use square points
then you can achieve that snap shot type of editing which I am used to.
But that weird sounding envelope type
the last one I have no idea what that does.
When I tried some experimenting it acted like linear,
now what might be kind of cool would be to have things like exponential
but you can achieve that using more points, or playing with the distance 
between two points nad using fast in or out,
being so used to sonar's stock sort of automation I'm going to have fun 
re-educating myself as to the possibilities,
and probably pull my hair out a few times till I get used to this.
Ah well,
