Hey Chris

I've downloaded the sfz info and look forward to checking it out properly
but it seems very explanatory and hopefully something I can get my head
around. Thanks also for the offer to help out, I would appreciate the
benefit of some of your knowledge if I run into some snags.

Cheers.

Dave

Hey, if you want to whittle on sfz stuff, I can teach you.
I love the control, and the freedom from difficult gui basedstuff and
ability to play your own samples you buy or make or whatever
with this format.
Some just want to load up the latest kontakt library and blow and go and
that's great.
I'm your sort of home work shop guy, I do professional work for folks,
mostly singer songwriter,
and my samples are good enough for them, but it's nice to map, and
control your kits just how you want, and mix it up how you like.
Glad at the progress you've made, come see me if you get hung up, I[m
getting my first batch of reaper students,
I am
working hard learning reaper my self, and they've been very patient with
me, 'grin',
we've been having fun learning together.
Here is a link to the level one sfz opcodes, it's a bit technical going,
but not too hard for a determined learner.
The sfz format was made for mere mortals, is human language readable,
and you can get as simple or as complex as you like with it.
