[Rwp] A Reaper editing question

I usually use the s key but sometimes depending on which item is
selected, if you move away from the place you want to select an item,
with control arrows and then move back to it some other way,
it will work.
I think maybe if a place you want to split overlaps another split is
something to consider as well.
Also doing select all in items menu sometimes fixes things.
Also reaper is very context sensitive so if you did any navigation
before splitting, that could have an affect.
That's all I can think of right now.
