[Rwp] FW1884 issue

Hello lists. Sorry for the cross post, but this applies to both daws.

 

As the subject says, I am wanting to use my fw1884 as a control surface. A.
is this possible with either daw, and B. how well would it work if it can?

 

My next kind of issue is that when I turn my fw1884 on, it turns on, You
hear a small pop from the output letting me know that I have some kind of
audio, lights come on and everything. The problem is that the faders don't
move, and nothing works... Is there a way to reset it, or do I need to take
it in to get looked at? Any suggestions?
