Hi, I'm still not familiar with stretch markers, but I have just managed to do some very good time correction things using just items. If you want to make time corrections, experiment with nudging items, and then if for instance there are chops and gaps between items, you can grow and shrink the left or right edges of items. Control numpad 4 to grow the left edge of selected items, control numpad 6, shrink left edge of items. Alt numpad 4, shrink right edge of items, alt numpad 6, grow right edge of iqems.

You can try experimenting with stretch markers by typing stretch markers into the search box that you get when you press F4. But shift semi-colon takes you to previous stretch marker, shift the key to the right of apostrophe takes you to the next marker. You can also move the current focused stretch marker to your edit cursor position by pressing alt M. Sorry for the lack of explanation. Hopefully some of this helps you.
There is a course for 100 dollars thaù covers all this and more.
