Hi this is James,
An I will never be able to use reaper, if no one can help me. I am using,
jaws17..
I’m still having problems. I just need help, please, someone,” just to get
started, and then I will be on my way. I will
always, support reaper, with money
and I will let other blind musicians, know about reaper.
But I can’t support reaper, if no one does not help me....
I’m using windows 8.1 64 bit. jaws17.
I will donate, generously, to the work for oscara....
If someone doesn’t mind, you can email me off list, its okay with me no
problem.
All I need is step by step, help in installing osara, and keymaps. An to
just make sure the keystrokes are working. Then I will be in business. I
don’t know if its jaws17 or not.. It maybe...
I know someone, has written, and gave the instructions, out, But those
instructions, unfortunately, are not helping
me. I think I need someone to hear me on my computer, so they can better
assist me.
An they can tell me what to do, right then.
I’m not trying to be a pest, I’m just asking for a little help.... I want
to use reaper very bad. I will pay for the whole thing. I just want to
know that this is going to work on my dell desktop....
I have the motif x f, 7. An I can not use the sequencer, on there, because
its not user friendly, for blind people. That’s a shame. But it is what it
is. So hurray! for reaper, if I can get a jump, start on reaper, I will
be in there....
Thanks again for all your help..
In advance...
James musician keyboardist/organist

Fixed in commit a475afa6. You should uninstall first (via Control Panel
-> Programs and features/Add or remove programs) before installing the
new build.

Hi guys. I am about to update reaper and osara. I have not previously used
the osara installer but have copied the reaper_osara.dll file into plugins
and imported Gianluka and Derek's keymap.
Should I remove the old reaper_osara.dll and keymap from reaper or will the
installer override this?
Thanks for all the help, and I hope that all of you who are benefiting from
all the hard work that is put into this development have donated to the
cause.
Cheers.
Dave

You should remove any files you copied into Program Files. Don't worry
about the key map; the installer will overwrite that unless you
explicitly choose not to.

Hi all,
As you've doubtless noticed, the past two days have seen a huge flood of
list messages. Unfortunately, not everybody has received every message.
For privacy reasons I won't divulge specific Email addresses here, but
there are a few spam filtering solutions which have been rejecting
certain messages from this list because their content scanners believe
they contain spam.
Let me state right here and now that I am NOT! accusing anybody on this
list of sending any spam messages. It's just that what you think is spam
and what I think is spam doesn't always jive with what various spam
filters think is spam, and there's really not a lot we, as posters or
administrators, can do about it.
The upshot of this message is this. I have the list software set to
disable subscriptions when people bounce at least one message per day
for at least three days within a rolling seven-day period. If some
addresses bounce mail today, this will be their third day with at least
one bounced message. If this happens, you'll receive a message saying
your subscription has been disabled because of too many bounced
messages, and providing a link to re-enable your subscription. If I see
this happen, I'll manually re-enable any subscriptions that weren't
previously re-enabled.
Like I said, there's not much any of us can do about this. I've seen
some providers who use spam filtering over which their users have
absolutely no control. I've also seen providers who give their users
control, but then the mail goes through a filter before it gets to the
system which would filter or not filter based on user preference,
meaning that the users' preferences don't really do that much good.
I hope this message helps, and I'm sorry for having to write this type
of message.
Thank you for your understanding,
Jayson Smith

Hi all, when i popped up the track parameters dialogue with CTRL shift P at
least i think thats the combo, I noticed the volume and pan options were
there but the rest of the options that used to be present in the reaaccess
virtual view have gone, how do I access them with osara?
your help with this question would be most welcome! kind regards trey.

What options do you need? A lot of it is easier to access from other
areas (e.g. the context menus, commonly used shortcut keys, etc.), so I
haven't cluttered the dialog with them. If there's a specific option you
need, please describe it and justify as to why other methods of getting
there aren't satisfactory.
Thanks!
