Beth,

Welcome aboard!  As for mixing, I definitely can work with you privately on 
that.  There are also tons upon tons of both free, and paid resources out 
there which are absolutely incredible!

Let me start by giving you one.

This guy is named Graham Cochran.  He's also  known online as "The Recording 
Revolution."  He's got a blog/web site at:

This guy has absolutely been my mentour/Godsend when it comes to learning 
mixing techniques.

He has both free, and paid stuff available online.  Both of which are out of 
this world!

He's also got a Youtube channel.  I'm sorry but off hand, I do not have that 
URL  readily available.  If you search on Youtube for The Recording 
Revolution, you'll definitely find him though.

I think he would be an absolutely amazing start for you!
