[Rwp] How to Select A Single Track for Editing

Hi,

I'm recording a small project in Reaper that currently contains audio 
tracks. (If I can ever get my MIDI keyboard to work with Reaper, I may try 
adding some MIDI tracks as well.) I can place the start and end markers with 
Alt+Shift+Left and Right Bracket, but when I press Delete to remove what 
I've selected, all tracks are affected. Does anyone know a command with 
Osara or otherwise to select the current track so I can edit it exclusively? 
I tried looking at the list with F4, but didn't find what I was looking for. 
Either that, or I'm just impatient. That's a huge list, even when filtered.
